old job new job

So, I was laid off a few weeks ago. It happened on May 12. Came out of nowhere, for sure. I was so surprised and pretty upset the day and even a week after it happened. I felt like it was very unfair and my voice was left unheard.

I could have called the "corporate compliance office" and stated my case and feelings and probably could have gotten my job back, but I feel like it would have been a waste of my energy. I needed to focus on the next step -- finding a new job home.

I'm pretty excited to see where I will land. I've met so many people in this industry that I am excited to stay in contact with. Why let a year of experience go to waste, right?

Sure am going to miss these dudes:
